As the Director Mātauranga of Tai Huki Consult Ltd, Whare has over 30 years proven teaching experience from Kōhanga Reo, Kuratahi, Wharekura, Secondary Schools through to Tertiary education.
She has led and been part of local and national programmes, guiding authentic and sustainable educational change throughout Aotearoa and believes that by harnessing education, can collectively empower people initiatives, demand positive action and create meaningful and lasting influence toward growing whānau who are healthy and resilient, now and into the future.

As the Director Te Reo Māori me ōna Tikanga of Tai Huki Consult Ltd, Hohepa has over 30 years proven teaching experience from Kura Tuatahi, Wharekura, Māori Tertiary Education & Iwi.
He is currently delivering the Education & Reo Strategies for Rangitāne o Manawatū Settlement Trust alongside the experienced iwi experts to empower and improve the educational and reo landscape for Rangitāne whānau. His passion is purely focused on empowering our whānau so that their aspirations are a reality, that their journey is enjoyable and they are in control of their future.

Based in Palmerston North, Nuwyne has over 20 years’ experience working as an educator in Māori education and as a community advisor in local government.
She is a strong advocate and practitioner of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and opportunities for tāngata whenua where she represents iwi on various governance boards including as a Trustee on Te Manawa Museums Trust Board and Te Rangimarie marae. She is passionate about building sustainable relationships and providing valuable insights and connections to grow capability within whānau, hapū and iwi.

Whaea Debi is based in Palmerston North and has over 40 years’ experience in Aotearoa-New Zealand’s education system, many of these years spent in roles of a Principal within mainstream schools and a Tumuaki within Kura Māori.
Debi brings considerable practical experience from working in various educational settings, including the Primary, Secondary and Tertiary sectors, as well as Special Education and Māori medium.
Over her many years of continuous service in education, Debi has built a career based on helping students, whānau, Iwi and educators to realise their potential, through appropriate and effective strategies, with a particular commitment to the roles of culture and education.

Matua Peter is based in Palmerston North and has over 40 years’ experience working as an educator in Primary and Bilingual education.
He has vast experience in the Special Education Services, with 20 years of practice as a Resource Teacher of Learning and Behaviour within the Manawatū region.
He is a puna mātauranga for Rangitāne, carrying whakapapa and stories of Rangitāne and the many connections of the Rangitāne people.
Happily married to Rosemary, Matua Peter has 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren.
